Brenden Keegan was born in and has lived in Lowell Massachusetts for most of his life. He was manager of the Publications Department for a defense contractor in the region for many years. In the process of developing and writing technical manuals for the military he spent a lot of time in the Art Department, working with the artists who created Pen and Ink line drawings for the manuals.
